(1) The election officer assigned for the local level election shall be responsible for conducting the election of women and Dalit or minority members who are elected to the village executive and city executive.
(2) For the election of the head, deputy head and members of the district coordination committee, the commission will appoint a gazetted officer of the justice service as the election officer in consultation with the judicial service commission.
(3) In addition to the duties, duties and rights mentioned elsewhere in the Act and this regulation, the duties, duties and rights of the election officer as per sub-rule (1) or (2) shall be as follows:-
(a) To prepare and publish the election program for the election as per sub-rule (1) or (2) in coordination with the Commission,
(b) To list the names of the members who will be voters in the relevant election as voters and publish the voter list,
(c) If there is any error in the details mentioned in the list published in the list as per Clause (b), correct it based on the application of the concerned person, (d) Conducting or conducting voting as a polling officer for the relevant election.
